new coffee maker

I had a Mr Coffee with stainless steel carafe and after a year the coffee had a burnt plastic taste and the maker itself smelled like burnt plastic when hot sometimes.  I bought a cuisinart that says no BPA anywhere that touches coffee or water and a glass carafe and charcoal filter as well as a second side with charcoal filter and hot water dispenser for tea or oatmeal etc and the coffee taste a lot better.  100 from walmart though so it better at that price.
