DocWard
Very little time, just over an hour with my oldest daughter. I took a late lunch, ran home, grabbed a couple of firearms, and we went shooting. Tried out the Ruger Mk. II that will be hers on her next birthday. She liked it a lot. Pulled out the single actions and put a few rounds through them, and a few rounds through my new M9 just so I can say I shot it. Still need to really wring it out, though. Most importantly, I got to spend a bit of quality time with her before driving her back to college on Friday. We got a couple of the zombie targets. She is contemplating hanging the one she shot in her room. It also occurred to me that there is no reason I can't take a pistol to work with me and take a long lunch every week or two and head to the range for an hour of focused shooting, working on restoring and maintaining skills.
