SGT. QUINCANNON, SASS #32999
I used to work in Monterey State Historic Park. Vasquez escaped from the adobe jail there in the 1860's, IIRC. He was a bad'un. he was legally hanged at in 1875. I've seen a couple of revolvers that have excellent provenience as having belonged to him. One is a Colt's Dragoon, the other an 1860 Army of the same manufacture.
