Gold Canyon Kid #43974
My wife shoots 32 H&R Mag adjustable sighted Ruger Single Sixes-older guns. Want to buy a trigger spring for one. Does anyone know for sure if all Ruger trigger springs are the same except for stiffness (i.e. same form factor)?
The Original Lumpy Gritz
Trigger return spring or hammer spring? They are not the same. http://www.gunsprings.com/Revolvers/RUGER/SINGLE%20ACTION%20SERIES/cID3/mID52/dID228 LG

The Original Lumpy Gritz
Try re-arching the ones you have. Wolff has lighter tension ones, also. LG

LG I tried re-arching the ones she has, they were a bit too weak, only about 1 1/2 #, I got them to 2 # with a bit of bending but really want more like 2 1/2 or 3# trigger pull. The Original Lumpy Gritz
These are OEM? Are your hammer springs Ruger OEM? You can 'shim' the hammer spring with a #10 AN washer also. LG
Rio Brazos Kid
I use Wolff Gunsprings in all my Rugers. Incidentally, they fit Vaquero's. Blackhawks and Single Sixes. They are made in 30, 40, and 50 oz. in the trigger return springs. I use the 30 oz. springs in the Vaquero's and Blackhawks, but use 40 oz. springs in my 32 Mag Single Sixes. I first tried the 30 oz. springs in the Single Sixes, but found them too light, and changed to the 40 oz. which seem just right. RBK
