Rootin Tootin Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I have an early Spur Marlin Cowboy Limited, JM marked, with his complete action job. No short stroke. This rifle is super fast and only a little longer on the stroke than a short stroked Marlin. 24 inch octagon barrel. Not critical on bullet length like the short stroked Marlins are. Will also chamber up 357's with no problem and as fast as 38's...... It has been a backup gun for the last three years.
