Sgt. John Campbell, SASS #58165
There's been tell of a big fight brewin', right here at the home of the LogansFerry Regulators. Seems there's been a lot of one-upmanship between the onehanded shooter's verses the two handed shooters. To make it worse, the old feudbetween the smokeless shooters and the black powder shooters has beenrekindling itself as well. And now, it seems there's yet another factionmuscling it's way into town, the gunfighters. If something's not done, and donesoon, there's liable to be hell to pay, and the results could be epic.It all reminds me of a similar event in history, that took place inthe late nineteenth century, in a silver mining town, a town that's earned thereputation as "The Town Too Tough To Die", the town we all know as Tombstone. Legends were born, and legends died, and in the span of a mere 28 seconds, awestern legend was born, "The Gunfight at The OK Corral". In 1993 Cinergi Pictures Entertainment and Hollywood Pictures brought us the movie"Tombstone", so it's only fitting that in 2013, the 20th Anniversary of thefilm, that the Logans Ferry Regulators bring you our September Cowboy ActionShooting Match, based on this modern western classic.Coming... John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
If I can find a red sash I may just come as a cowboy. There is also a rumor that I may wear the kilt I bought at the renaissance fair last month. John Barleycorn does have Scottish roots ya know. We're hoping to see some new faces for the shoot, and we guarantee you'll have fun shooting all of the stages.
