SENATE PASSES / AMENDS GUN BILL
PACKAGE

Today (May 13), the New
Jersey State Senate passed / amended a package of 14 gun bills in a largely
partisan vote, following two weeks of hearings in various Senate
committees. Some of the bills in the package will now move back to the
Assembly for reconciliation with changes made in the Senate, and whatever
passes the Assembly will then move to the Governor’s office. Other bills were
amended today and will be postponed to a later voting
session.

Additionally, ANJRPC Executive Director Scott Bach is scheduled to
be keynote speaker at the Middlesex County Women’s Republican Club on Tuesday,
May 14 (tomorrow) at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public (both women
and men) and ANJRPC members are invited to attend. Scott will be speaking
about the legislative attacks New Jersey gun owners have faced since January as
