Texas Phil Peeno #50923
May 25, 2012 Yesterday, I had the honor and privilege to be part of the dedication of the Ennis Veterans Memorial dedication. The memorial is impressive representing all major foreign wars. The brick path are etched with fallen soldiers. The Battlefield Cross was unveiled during the ceremony. Being last to arrive I was drafted to present the Texas flag which I didn't mind at all. The Veterans Memorial committee has invited the Texas State Guard 2BTN/4REG to be color guards. Proud to honor those who have laid their lives and still unaccountable. They are the reason why we are able to exercise our rights. HOOAH!
