Tom Bullweed Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 I have an interenal hammer SxS and original 87 and 97. I have been keeping my eyes open for an American-made external hammer SxS. My local gunshop has a very clean Remington Model 1876 'Lifter' SxS for a good price. These guns are opened by a lever betweent he hammers that lifts away from the upper tang. Anyone have expeirence with these guns? This would be used for 40-45 grain BP loads in 12-gage only. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
