Dirty Dan Dawkins
20" octagon barrel 44-40 Straight stock Marbles white front. Butt cover and lever wrap. Linseed oil finish on wood. Cody Conagher action. Good shape. Great finish. Handles great. $1100 shipped or I will trade for a Marlin 1894 in 44-40. I really need to clarify my position on this so here goes. I am looking for Cowboys, Cowboy II and even round barrel carbine models such as the Marlin 1894 S and such. 20 or 24" barrel. I want a backup/main match shooter. No commemoratives, centennials or antiques. I am not talking about a straight trade either. I know values on these are insane over on Gunbroker but one I picked up a year or so ago for $550 virtually NIB. OK, so that was a heck of a deal. Be reasonable and so will I. Got one laying around that ya don't shoot? $700-$800 seems reasonable to me for a good used one and I am willing to negotiate my rifle's value as well. Put straight, your rifle and $250 to boot is what I am looking for. Each of us handle our own shipping. and lastly, I will consider a straight trade for a short stroked 73 in 357 with either straight or pistol grip stock. Lost brass matches cost too much in 44-40. Round, half round or octagon barrel. 20" and under barrel lengths only. I am not particularly looking to buy anything. I am just open to these trades. I will have pics up later.
