Sagerider Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 With my considerations for trying black powder, I am wondering if a holster sized for a Ruger OMV will accommodate a Colt 3rd generation 3rd Dragoon. Scorpion, SASS #62974 Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Sagerider, I have OMV's with 5.5" barrels that I use as main match guns with holsters sized accordingly. I also have 58 Remmies with 8" barrels that I use in the same holsters. As long as the bottom of the holster is open, the longer barrels just hang out. I do not have a Dragoon with which to check this for you but I know the big Walker isnt even close. Just not sure how mach smaller the Dragoon is than the Walker, barl length not withstanding?
