I re-finished the wood, stripped the thick factory finish off and sanded/stained it, rubbed with tung oil for the finish. I took the dust cover off and lost the spring for it. I have the cover and bearing, and decided to leave it off.

Runs great. I cut the butt stock, only to square it. Not shortened. Has a leather strip adhered to the end. If you don’t like the looks of it, you could cover or replace it. Full buckhorn rear and Cowboy XS front sites set up as a ghost ring.

Comes with the original brass carrier, crescent steel end-plate, original lifter/lever leaf springs, original firing pin rod, and the original toggle links and lifter arm. And a few extra misc new screws.

Given the great condition, tuning, parts upgraded, and spare parts, I am asking 1200. If you can find one new, they run about 1500 with all of these mods.

Will consider offers; trade and some cash for a working 20 inch 97 in 12g maybe?

PS- I love this gun. I am going a different direction in CAS (BP and WB) so I am buying some different guns...can’t afford to keep them all.

I am having an out-of-money experience.
