Cody increased the mag. capacity nine to ten rounds by using different mag springs, maximum overall length per Cody in 45LC should be 1.525. Since I don't reload 45 LC I have been using Bullets by Scarlett, 45 LC, 160 grain bullet, O/A length is 1.493 (Shoots Great) Miroku copied an original 1873 Winchester in the Cody Museum with Fiddle Back Maple Stocks and 24 1/2" bbl.
