I have a pair of 3rd gen SAA's for sale. They are not consecutive numbered. They are nickel, 7.5" barrels, chambered in 38WCF. These are later model Colts with the removable cylinder bushings. They have been fired, but are in very good condition. Asking $4000 and will cover shipping. Would be interested in a partial trade for a Colt SAA, 3rd gen, Blued, 5.5", 32-20 , or maybe another pair of Colts.

I will be in St. George, Ut in April and have loaded 45-90 from a local manufacturer. They are loaded with APP, a black powder substitute. You much do you want? they are sold in 20 round packages..

I've recently come into possession of a large amount of once fired 12g Winchester Ranger paper hulls and was hoping to load them with black powder, but I can't find any BP loading data. I'd really like to load them with fiber wads, but the hulls are so thick, I'm not sure what size would even work. Anyone have any load data ?

What make/model are you looking for? I have a pair of Colt SAA, 3rd gen's w/removable bushings I might consider selling for the right price. I am the second owner and had Joe Perkins did an action job on them. They are blues w/sand bar stag grip. BearClaw

You can avoid the "hop" if you hold it by the end of the receiver. I know a guy (Col MKH) who runs one that way and can be pretty fast. You have to lock it in and keep your hand just out of the way of the lever, and it's as fast as any unmodified toggle link. Having said that, I have an Original Henry (modern) in 44-40 and have used it a few times for fun at local matches. They are a blast to shoot but it's not my main match rifle. Bear Claw
