Best wishes to both of you. While I have not had fusion, I did have bone and cartilidge removed as I had 5 herniated discs that were impinging on the nerve outlets as well as the cord itself. My wife has asked me, "Is your back fixed?" No, they just broke the check engine light for that LOL.
