Not sure what sorting you are asking about. It is sorted by caliber.

Length. If the case has stretched, it can cause problems and they need to be trimmed back to the starting point. But, I have never had straight-wall pistol brass grow so long that it caused this issue.

I generally remove the primers when doing rifle cases. I have not gone to that trouble for pistol brass. So far no stuck primers.

And you really don't want to wet tumble with the new primers in place.

A while back I was telling a few here that I had a few CCI LRP not working in some 45-70 loads I worked up. I was very frustrated as I had 60 more that I loaded and was afraid they wouldn’t go boom.
I finally got around to pulling a few of the cases that ftf. I was mystified because the primer was clearly decomposed, and the powder was clumped up and sticky.I let the cases sit open for a few days due to my work load. When I came back to them, the powder was flaky, as it was supposed to be. I pulled another and it was clumpy but it dried within a few hours. I initially thought resizing lube had contaminated the powder and primer. After seeing the powder go from clumping to loose and flaky, I think I still had water from wet tumbling in them.
I shook the rest and could hear the powder shifting so I think they’re good. I have since added time in the oven at 170 degrees to all my brass processing if I need it soon. Lesson learned.

You are hitting the puller too hard! I just finished reseating about 150 rounds that loaded 0.100" too long. That puller is 10 years old and has probably pulled thousands of rounds by now, including some mil surplus rifle rounds.
good luck, GJ
My RCBS hammer is from 1983 and still working.

You must not have read the entire application, Bordertown reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.

Well, now, who's going to make everyone else look good? With me solidly anchoring the bottom of the bell curve, everyone else could look at their cards and say, well, at least I beat someone!

Nope. I don't know what happened. According to the tracking, my application was received on Tuesday. My friend got his notification, but his app didn't arrive until Friday. And I don't see that the check has been posted. Maybe they are saving the best for last.
-
Well, heck. I next day aired my app in and so far no notifications.

So luckily I was not robbed. I have a 900 foot long gravel driveway through the woods to my house. There is a circular turnaround at my house plenty big enough for any box truck to use.
The driver evidently did not want to come up to the house so he faked the signature and left the box next to my driveway down at the road.
fedex does this all the time. UPS, Amazon and the postal service have no problem coming to the house but fedex thinks it’s ok to leave packages on or near the driveway near the road.
we have had dog food from Chewy left by the road overnight as we did not know it was delivered and critters chewed into the box and bag and ate some of the dog food. I had a case of shotgun shells, unfortunately in a box marked Remington Ammunition disappear after it was supposedly delivered and left by the road. The fedex driver consistently leaves our packages down by the road. Only FedEx does this.
luckily the rifle was still down at the end of the driveway when I went down there. The rifle is one of the new Ruger made Marlin 1894’s. It was really nice when I got it. The action work done by Longhunter is amazing. Smooth as silk. I would happily recommend his shop to anyone.
You need to call the local FedEx and get the driver's and manager's phone numbers. I called the local folks and read them the riot act after leaving a gun at our community job box five miles from my house after I had sat at home all day waiting for it. If I am not going to be home and I have a signature-required shipment, I call the driver and tell him where to leave the box and to sign for me. The manager also knows this for when my driver is on vacation.
-
Make sure it wasn't delivered and signed for by the driver. It happened to me. I now have the driver's phone number and will make arrangements with him when I won't be home.

I like the Cimarron 1886. It is a faithful copy of the original.

If someone was going to steal it, the whole thing would be gone. Porch pirates don’t take the time to open a box. They run up, grab, and dash. There are thousands of security videos showing this.

Many years ago I was in a female owned and operated Ace hardware in Colorado. I turned beet red when I asked her if she had offset nipples. (They are an electrical fitting.) She saw my discomfort and started laughing, stating she did, and then showed me, the electrical fittings that is.

With Ruger’s new Super Redhawk in .22 Hornet just being introduced, I have it on high authority that Hornady will be coming out with .22 Hornet brass and ammo to support it.

I think OLG is correct. And SPP is in every store in town. LPP are not to be found except on rare occasions. LRP? As rare as four-leaf clovers in the Sonoran Desert.

So no 1887's, 1892's, 1894's or 1897's?
No safety glasses.
No hearing protection.
No 911 service.
No motor vehicles.
Dysentary, polio, needless amputations and incurable fever.
No antibiotics.
No heart meds.
No running water.
No air conditioning.
Sign me up for a big ol' slice of that.
You forgot dying from a cavity when the infection went into the brain.

Spotted an item I hanker for from an outfit called "Buffalos Wild West". Specifically I'm looking for a silk wild rag similar to that worn by Powers Boothe (Curly Bill) in Tombstone.

The website is pretty rudimentary, and they claim to be a SASS affiliated merchant. They do have an Etsy store that thousands of reviews, BUT I have a suspicious nature I'm sad to admit.
Anyone here care to vouch for them?
Thanks for any help given.
There have been scammers since the day Adam and Eve left Eden. You should always verify a merchant. Props to you for doing so before you send money.

I’m guessing they want PayPal F&F, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or some other cash app.

On the reverse, the grips on my 1860s were too big, so I traded for 1851 grips and frames. Now I can reach the hammer easier.

My article on Bordertown will be out in GUNS -- Old West Annual 2024 in April. @Too Tall Bob
In exchange for the even greater recognition this will bring to an already famous match, I expect the shot timer to be started 10 seconds after I start shooting each stage.
