Scott Meyer, aka Sixgun Shorty, I shot a match with him at Fernley Nevada, he told me later that it was the last cowboy action he ever shot.  That was in 2010.  I spoke to him several times after that, especially after his wife died and he was telling me his daughter in Georgia had been sick and he was going down there to take care of her.  I believe that was before his wife died.  He had part ownership in a large sailboat that sailed around the world, he may have just jumped on it....
