While some companies use boring bars to make chamber checkers, egw uses the actual clymer reamers that are used to chamber barrels. Anodized matte black for durability. EGW cowboy chamber checker measures 1.6" in height. Saami spec max length for357 mag is 1.59". Saami spec max length for 44-40 win is 1.592". Saami spec max length for 44 mag is 1.610".
