Chick Brewster, SASS # 63836 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Since we are not allowed to have camp fires at EOT (which is understandable) can we have a steel charcoal BBQ? -cb-
Drago SASS #2995L Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Chick...I'll check ;-) maybe Bighorn will look into it also, he's the Wrangler for the Fire Control, camp etc.
Chick Brewster, SASS # 63836 Posted March 31, 2006 Author Posted March 31, 2006 Thanx for checking... I guess if I was on that detail I could build a camp fire and then put it out -cb-
Drago SASS #2995L Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Chick In the EOT meeting BBQ's were discussed..... Camp fires ARE NOT allowed...please pass the word, also Charcoal BBQ's aren't either. Small gas BBQ's are o.k. A fire extinguisher in camp would be a good idea.
Guest sawyer#34250 Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I was there last year when somebody barbequed that truck. Lucky no one was hurt and that the fire didn't spread. It is kind of hard to burn mud, now that I think about it
Blackey Cole Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Well this year they will not be any mud since we are over a 1 1/2" behind in rainfall this year for the first 100 days of the year. We had a little shower yesterday but it wasn't enough to wash the dust of the cars, just enought to turn it in to mud.
Guest sawyer#34250 Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 hey Blackie--if New Mexico is 1 & 1/2 inches behind on rain, doesn't that mean you are in the hole for the year no matter what happens tomorrow?
