Dead_Head
Congratulations to the 2020 SASS NH State Champions 'Binky The Kid' and 'Splinter Bill'. 'Binky the Kid' started as a young girl with her father, 'Owl Hoot', and is now working as an architect while shooting .44-40's in rifle and pistol. 'Splinter Bill' was a previous state champion in 2017 and then had a nasty bout with cancer, but is back in good health. Congratulations to 'Tyler Tornado' from Maine and 'Hey Moe' from Connecticut for High Overall Men's and Ladies Champions. The 'Fracas at Pemi Gulch' was held August 21-23, 2020 at the Pemigewasset Valley Fish and Game Club in Holderness, NH. As usual we had some sun, some rain and some nice weather! Thanks to 'Dakota Joe' and his crew of volunteers for putting on the shoot in this year of COVID-19. Entries were down, but those attending sure enjoyed themselves. Wild Bill Blackerby SASS # 34989
Congrats to all of the fine winners at Pemi this past weekend, Ida Mae and I thought of you guys all weekend. Really would have loved to see ya but... A personal "YAFREAKINHOO"! to my good pal Binky for getting the buckle this year!!! Love shooting with her and one of my mentors Owl Hoot, my question is - did you win with that shotgun over the knee technique? Also - congrats to Doc McCoy for being this year's Secret Order of the Crow recipient. Well deserved brother. Welcome to the fold. Miss you guys, cy'all in 2021. Dead_Head
Wild Bill, she shot an original 1897 that worked one hell of a lot better than that awful double barrel she tried to shoot for years.
