Deadeye Al, SASS # 26454
Anyone know of a Gunsmith with experience in changing from standard single -action to "SHORT STROKE". Would like my Engraved Taylor's & Co. Single Action .357 worked on, and estimated cost for work ? Deadeye Al

The year before last I bought a pair of (mint) GWII nickle/ivory/357 Piettas from him. They have low hammers ... are short stroked and are just outstanding. I wanted low hammers really bad but couldn't make non-short stroked ones work for shooting two handed. Anyhow ... these did the trick and I am pretty positive he said Lassiter did them ... but he should have all the details. If you like what you hear from him you are welcome to try mine to help you make a decision.
