Hope you are planning on coming to the 23^rd Annual Chorro Valley ShootOut / 2017 SASS Western Regional at CVR (Aug 9-13, 2017). If you are planning on staying in a motel*, now is the ideal time to lock down your rooms. There are some events happening at CalPoly (California Polytechnic State University in neighboring San Luis Obispo) that will impact hotel/motel space during those dates, so I urge you to book rooms early.

 

I checked out some local motels and here's what I found (rates are as of April 25, but are subject to change depending on when you call):

 

SAN LUIS OBISPO (8 miles from CVR range), prices are for room w/two beds

San Luis Inn & Suites, 404 Santa Rosa, 805.544.0881, weekday $79.00, Friday is $129.00 and Saturday is $189.00 

Americas Best Value Inn, 950 Olive Street, 805.544.8886, weekday $95.00, F-S $220.00

Budget Inn, 1001 Olive Street, 800.491-6126, weekday $88.00, Friday $162.00, Saturday $224.00

Ramada Inn, 1000 Olive Street, 805.544.2800, weekday $116.00, Friday $278.00, and Saturday was quoted at $71.00 (but you need to double-check that).

 

MORRO BAY (5 miles from CVR range), prices are for room w/two beds

Sandpiper Inn, 540 Main St., 805.772.7503, weekday $109.00, Friday and Saturday are $189.00

Fireside Inn, 730 Morro Avenue, 805.772.2244, weekday $119, Friday is $189.00 and Saturday is $249.00

Best Western, 250 Pacific Street, 805.772.2248, weekday $159.00, Friday and Saturday are each $279.00

Motel 6, 298 Atascadero Road, 805.979.9808, weekday $83.00, Friday is $139.00 and Saturday is $179.00

 

These are just a few of many motels in both towns, but I thought this would make the search a bit easier for you.
