Sagerider
Anyone familiar with the disassembly of a Sterlingworth receiver? As I was removing the stock for cleaning and refinishing, a part magically appeared which will not return to position. Looking for a source of assembly and disassembly. Thanks for the advise, Sagerider.

Sagerider
J-Bar, I have actually used that site for disassembly in the past but it does not go past the removal of the sears. After going that far to remove the stock, the plunger that is activated by closing the barrels decided to fall out and will not simply slide back in. I am looking at possibly removing the hammers and the barrel locking mechanism and would prefer to do so in the correct order. If you have done this before, give me a return post. Thanks, Sagerider
J-BAR #18287
I owned a Sterlingworth briefly and found that website at that time, but never attempted disassembly myself. You might try contacting our old wire buddy Manatee at Banana River Outfitters; he liked Sterlingworths. Good luck!
