Poet Jones 99980 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Howdy pards, I know there was another post recently on this subject, but I just had to throw in my 2 cents. Today I took a class with Jeremiah Longknife. He covered a lot of ground, but the main topics were Target Acquisition, Gun transition and Footwork. I learned a great deal as did the other students. I have to say that is one of the best classes I have ever taken about Shooting competition, I got some great tips and excellent coaching. Jeremiah is a wonderful, understanding Sensei and I think that with some practice on those points, I will definitely shave some time off my regular stage times. Now I am not new to Gun competition. I have been shooting for almost 50 years, and I still managed to glean some useful knowledge. I have heard that a lot of folk are reluctant to take CAS classes for one reason or another. Please don't be. If an old dog like me can learn a few new tricks, well than I would venture to say anyone could. Thanks Jeremiah! I appreciate the help more than you know. Look out tho, armed with all your knowledge, I may be coming for you. Sooner or later. Probably later tho. '-)
