Waco Jim
A friend just purchased from Cabelas, a Uberti Walker clone and wishes to find a holster rig and belt to go with it. Something period correct is the desire. I'm not sure of the history of these guns but I think the Calvery and maybe the Texas Rangers used them (That might have been in a movie). Maybe a flap holster, I don't know. A used and abused rig would be perfect since he wishes this for a display and conversation piece in his gun room. What have you got? Buckhorn Bud
For a little history, the Walker was designed for the Texas Rangers and they were the first to use the Walker. They were usually carried in a saddle holster because, at 4-1/2 pounds, they were considered too heavy to be carried on the belt. Thus the name "horse pistol."
