Shootin Straight Posted December 16, 2013 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Winchester 12 gauge 1897 model shotgun. Barrel has been cutoff to 19-20". New brass #4 bead installed. Brand new three screw forend installed. Cleaned and lightly oiled. Take down C model. S/N 2299xx. Stock appears original, has small crack in the middle where it meets the receiver. The hammer has had a file taken to it (guessing bird hunter). It does not feel bad, and it doesn't look too bad either. Feed and functions well. Looks like the price is going to be $450 - how bout we split the shipping charges, first I'll take it...gets it. Washington State residents - it can come straight to your door, no FFL required.
