All Sold Winchester Model 12

Recommended Posts

I'm still in the process of helping a widow lady sell off some of her late husbands guns.

Both guns are over fifty years old so they qualify as C&R's, They can be shipped to either a FFL or C&R, If someone local(Calif) wants them they can be legally transfered without a FFL.

First one to post I'll take it here on the wire gets it.

#1SOLD To Jonny T.

Winchester Model 12,12 ga, Built in 1958, 30" full barrel. Except for a added butt pad this one is pretty much a stock

gun,

Everything looks right on it, The barrel and receiver joint is tight and theres plenty of adjustment left on the sleeve,

The barrel is bright and shiny except for one small pea size spot in front of the chamber if you weren't looking for it you

probably wouldn't notice it, The wood is in good shape there's some spots missing varnish and a hairline crack at the wrist

but overall it's pretty good The length of pull without the pad is 13 7/8" with the pad 14 7/8" the pad may have been

installed without cutting the stock but I can't be sure, There's a lot of blue left I'd guess maybe 80%. I've never shot

this gun so I can't tell you how it shoots.

#2Sold

Winchester Model 12,12 Ga., Built in 1947, 25" barrel with a cutt's compensator (21 1/4" from receiver to base of cutt's)

Barrel is bright and shiny with no pits, Metal has been reblued and is 99%, Wood is really nice there's a spot of roughness

under the pistol grip and on one corner of the forend both spots are pretty minor, The gun seems to be fine mechanicly.

The barrel receiver joint is tight with lots of adjustment left.

I've never fired this gun either so I can't say how it shoots but everything looks good.Cut the cutts off this and have the

best looking wild bunch gun on the range.
