Jersey Kid, SASS #287 Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 These were made by Jack Stewart, one of the original SASS members and perhaps the best, authentic saddle maker, Jack Still makes occaisional pieces and everything is hand stitched and I still ride a J C Stewart Highback saddle. This is a pair of saddle pockets double strapped 10 3/4" wide by 10 3/4" deep with a large tapered 4 1/2" gusset with nickel buckles. In 1991 these cost $307 new and quite a bit more today. They are in almost new condition (I have another pair of Jack's bags I use).
