Hi all,

Whew! The third Saturday of the month is just about upon us again. This match will be our one year anniversary/first birthday.

We are going to have seven stages including the classifier. The match fee is $15. Sign up starts at 8:30 A.M. There will be a mandatory safety/shooters meeting/briefing at 9:15. And we should be shooting by 9:30.

The classifier stage we are going to shoot is CM 03-18 High Standards:

The Sparta USPSA "club" is at the World Recreation and Shooting Complex, near Sparta, IL.

The round count for the match will be 161 rounds. The other 6 stages will be plenty of "run and gun" and give shooters plenty of "freestyle experience" in which they come up with what they think is the best solution to solve the stage/course of fire.

You can see a .pdf of the stages here:

all of you Wild Bunch guys are definitely invited to attend...just bring plenty of mags for your single stack 1911s.

Hope to see you out there.

we will be out there on Thursday (tomorrow) morning at 8:30 to set up.

Those who set up get their match fees dropped down to just six bucks, from the original fifteen.

And to help promote the sport and get the kids involved, the junior's match fee is $7.

A junior is anyone under 18.

Hey guys I shot my USPSA match last month in Sparta and is was a blast.

I know alot of cowboys have the equipment to shoot this sport also and hey it is another day on the range.

I was pleased at the reception I recieved as a NEWBIE in the sport and it reminded me alot of my first cowboy match everyone was very helpful.

If you have the chance come try it here in Sparta or at a range near you.

Great Match today it was the 1 year anniversery of the new USPSA club sharing a range with the KASKASKIA COWBOYS,

I shot my first open class gun with a red dot on it I could't hit squat and was not very fast but it was way cool.

It is a lot harder to find the red dot in the sight quickly than to look down the barrel at a front sight , guess it just takes some getting use to .

I really never thought it would be as much fun as it was , another great way to put lead down range.

Thanks to the guys who worked so hard to put it together for us.

See Ya

MOSE
