No Cattle #22849 0 Posted April 6, 2011 I create models of conveyor sytems on a computer. These models are then connected to the actual controlers for the real systems. This allows engineers to check that their control program does what it supposed to do. You can actually watch the cartons on the (model)conveyor do what they would do in the real world. These models are about 95% accurate and cut our actual field time by a considerable amount. They are also great for training maintanence and new engineers. I decided I couldnt make it on $6.50 an hour, so I got hired on at a larger police department and have been there 25 years.
