Oklahomabound
A note from Catoosa Red: Greetings all! Here's an update on Ruckus in the Nations - we are going to have a "Cowboy Garage Sale" on Thursday 9/15. You may bring your items early Thursday morning. Clearly mark all items with your full ALIAS - not just your initials. All proceeds from items marked with initials will go to me! Please, only Cowboy Shooting related items. Our "thanks" to Alley Cat & Hunny OO who have generously offered to hold the garage sale. The ladies will collect the money for your items but they will not negotiate on your behalf. Cowboy Garage Sale - Cowboy related items only (clothes, guns, knives, leather, hats, boots, etc..) Thursday Sept 15, 2011 8:00am - 4:00pm Please be prompt about picking up any un-sold items See you in September! -- Catoosa Red Indian Territory SASS

Oklahomabound
Catoosa Red had this to say: Greetings all - I wanted to let everyone know how our very own ITSASS shooters did at Shootin in the Shade in Arkansas. First off, the Mountain Valley Vigilantes sure know how to put on a shoot! They have a great facility and a lot of hard working club members (sounds like ours, doesn't it?). The shoot was a lot of fun for the over 20 ITSASS shooters that made the trip - and the entry deadline! Here's how they did: Belle Mimi - Ladies Silver Senior - 1st place Rock Creek Bottoms - Ladies 49r - 2nd place Creek County Kid - Cowboy - 2nd place, 1 miss & 4th overall! Hannah Call - Buckerette - 1st place Annies Shadow - Buckerette - 2nd place Annie Hickok - Ladies B-Western - 3rd pl Fast Fingers Green - Elderstatesman - 2nd place Gunny OO - Mens Gunfighter - 3rd place & Spirit of the Game Catoosa Red - Ladies Gunfighter - 1st place Kiamichi Queen - Ladies Frontier Cartridge - 1st pl The Brisco Kid - Frontiersman - 1st pl Texas Toast - Clean Match! Red Knee - 2 misses - his best match ever! Sassafrass Cyndy - Ridin' Drag Our club also did well in all of the Side Matches but I don't have a list of them - sorry. Pictures have been posted on our web site. See everyone at Ruckus in the Nations!
Oklahomabound
Catoosa Red said: Greetings all from ITSASS! We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2011 Ruckus in the Nations - the Oklahoma SASS State Championship, in just one week! Several changes have been made to the schedule so, please be sure to check in when you arrive at the facility to get your shooters packet. The shooters booklet has been updated with the changes. The gate code will be on your name tag, which you will get at check in. Check in will be open at 7:30am Thursday for those shooters that are attending the RO II course at 8:00am. The side matches will start at 11:00am on Thursday. The main change is that we have outgrown Woodrow's for the Saturday night banquet. It has been moved to the Case Community Center in Sand Springs. Address and directions will be in the shooters packet. We are excited to have you join us in celebrating the 10th Ruckus in the Nations!
