Slowhand Bob, 24229
I have tried You-Tube without success and thought I would check here, anyone use or seen the Ponsness Warren P-200 pistol press in action? I am thinking it is a manual index machine, with a sliding shell holder, but just not sure? They have another one that is rated for rifle cartridges and seems to use the same principle, which actually makes both machines operate one round in the machine at a time? Matazal
I have one. It works kinda like a single stage shotgun loader. It uses standard RCBS type shell holders & like you said the shellholder slides. You come out with a loaded shell after moving though all the stations. I've had mine for years. I use mine for loading rounds I don't use a lot of. I have Dillons for SASS & anything I burn up a lot of ammo. It's much faster than a single stage loader, but not close to a progressive loader. I've loaded rifle ammo on mine, even though it's made for pistol loading. 45/90 & 7MM mag. is a bit of a puppy mother to load on it. But I've done it.
