For sale are two rifles, both in caliber 45-70. The first is an H&R Model 1871 Buffalo Classic. The stock Williams receiver sight has been upgraded to a tang mounted Lee Shaver Economy Long Range Soule sight. The original Williams sight is included. This gun is in very good condition and has had no more than a couple of hundred rounds through it. There is a surface scratch on the right side of the stock, just in front of the butt cover (see photo). It is not deep enough to penetrate the finish of the stock. The gun is very consistently on target at 300 yds (which is the limit of my local range). Price $750, including shipment to your FFL. The second is a Marlin Model 1895. The barrel length is 22". It has a Marbles tang peep sight and a globe front sight to replace the hooded blade. A LimbSaver has been added to the buttstock. To avoid a question, it is not a JM Marlin but yes, it is a late model Remington. It bears stamps to indicate a manufacture date of April 2019. The gun may not boast the JM stamp but it also doesn't boast the price that is often expected for one having it. The fit and finish are very clean and, like the H&R, it has had no more than a couple of hundred rounds through it. Also, like the H&R, it's consistently on target at 300 yds. Price $1,200, including shipment to your FFL. Thanks for your interest!
