Overall I am very happy with my Cimarron 1887. Right out of the box the gun simply functions as it should. This is the only shotgun I have ever handled that I felt right out of the box would be suitable for SASS matches. Sure it’s not a race ready 87, but it is reliable and for anyone interested in picking up an 87 I would highly recommend. Just FYI mine holds 5 in the tube but won’t close with a 6th shell on the carrier, so for use in wild bunch the spring will need to be modified.
Thanks for the reply. BTW Deuce Stevens did a couple videos on them. I think he cut down the mag tube spring and did get 6 in it for WB.

Happy customer here. I like the color choices and the price. They shoot well also.

I just picked up a 1000 Federal SPP for $89.00 at a LGS, just sayin'...........guess the prices are not coming down anytime soon or ever!
My LGS had the Ginex awhile back but I passed on them. They sold them out but have not restocked. They said a few folks were complaining about them.
Every try Remingtons? They shoulda been 69.99 on sale, unless that ended since Wednesday at Fin.

I haven't seen S&B primers for a long time!! I can't remember the last time I saw them.
I have 4K or so of them. Hardest primer I ever did try to fire in my cowboy guns. Only ones I’ve ever had consistent FTF from when testing them in my back yard. If I remember correctly, they are labeled small rifle or something of that sort.

Interesting to note that the path of the eclipse will travel across all 7 cities in the US named Nineveh.
so who’s closet to any of those cities?
