Bill O'Reilly has a book in his "Killing" series: Killing England.
It goes into great detail about the brutal struggle for independence from England. This is a far deeper dive into history than one gets in public school.

actually I do get it, what I don't get is where these lunatics come from (since they are found all around the world) and why the locals aren't allowed to slap them silly everytime they come up with another piece of poo like this!

These lunatics are elected by their voters.
These are the same voters that elected them to confiscate their guns.-

We just got home from 13 days in PA with those ultra high humidity levels.
Got off the plane in Sacramento at 100 degrees, which is much more comfortable than 83 degrees and high humidity. We got 100% humidity in Nashville BNA waiting to change plains.
Southwest left our luggage outside in an intense downpour, and they were 100% water logged.BNA Southwest is confused... changed our gate 3x, between two concourses.
BNA is the busiest airport in TN, more than all the others in TN combined.-

I guess mine is the standard Ruger Redhawk in 44 mag.
It is very well made and mechanically excellent.
However, it smacks hell out of my 2nd knuckle and is painful to shoot.I'm told that Hogue or Pachmayer grips will alleviate this.
My neighbor loaned me his 629 in 44 mag, and it is FAR more pleasant for me to shoot.
My #1 comfort is the Alaskan in 44 mag with Hogue Tamer grips.
Truly a comfortable pleasure to shoot even with hot loads. The Redhawk WILL go up for sale if I cannot tame the knuckle slap with a grip replacement.
I dislike it that much, and will not keep it if I can't cure the slap.-

My Ruger Single Six Bisleys in 22LR.
These are every bit the quality (and price) of their premium revolvers.
I have three: two in stainless, the third is blued.

For my health provider, it comes down to their patient load.
My General Practitioner carries 2,200 patients.
My neurologist apparently carries similar.Neither has time enough to provide care beyond writing a prescription, checking you off their list, then on to the next patient number in the queue.

Sports fans and rioters/protesters seem to think they can run their mouths and actions with impunity.
It used to be, a guy running his mouth like that had his teeth introduced to the back side of his neck.I miss the days of civility, and also miss the days of water canons and good old-fashioned beat-downs for inappropriate behavior.
Banned for life?
Actions have consequences.

In junior high I got bullied into a corner at a school dance while trying to make headway with a Sweet Young Thing.
The bully was drunk and spoiling to tear me apart. I tried my best to avoid it, but wound up introducing him to my dad’s set of brass knuckles. Problem solved.

I've done a few.
Absolute accurate description and photos.Fastest possible shipping without delays.
Confirmation and Tracking info for the shipment.I bought a Vaquero 44 mag Bisley from a gunbroker seller in Georgia.
He insisted on a USPS cashier's check, then sat on the shipping for another week after receiving the check.
He said he was "too far from the post office" to ship right away.Pissed me right off.

A similar hydraulic model of this exists (still?) in Sausalito.
Very interesting to see how it all works.I still remember when a ship dragged its anchor and cut the communication lines that crossed the gorge from SF to Marin.

And another brilliant innovation devolves into yet another trivial but money-making consumer toy.
As with all innovations, AI is now weaponized, and is far harder to detect when infecting your machine with malware.

My bride's grandfather threw a snowball at his friend.
The friend picked up a handful of snow and found grampa dropped from AAA.-

4x cardiac bypass, no valve job required.
Aortic aneurysm burst is an instant "Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200" moment.
VERY quick. We lost a relative at the Thanksgiving dinner table that way.
Instant face-down in the (not instant) mashed potatoes.Kids were already outside playing at the time.

I am always both astounded and impressed when I get to read a story like this.
I always wondered what Lauren Bacall ever saw in a tough guy like Bogart, so now I fully understand.
She knew the real Bogart, that the audience never saw.-

I always mute the sound then laugh at the body language and facial expressions.
I also look at the commercial demographics and wonder what aliens think who view those commercials from afar, and are then so surprised when they visit here.

Speculating here, but guessing a pistol requires a powder that provides a higher chamber pressure level to properly cycle the action.

We are staying at the Sheraton Bay Front in Erie PA this week.
This is adjacent to the convention center, and directly connected by a sky bridge.
Me: why is there is no clock in my room?
Him: use your phone.Me: what is the WiFi access code?
Him: use your phone.Me: there is no microwave in the room
Him: use the one down the hall.
Me: why do you charge me $16 a day to park at this hotel?
Him: everybody charges, as there is no free parking for guests.Too bad there isn't a Walmart hotel close by...

We're at a convention this week in Erie, PA.
Meals prices at the hotels are obscene so we went to the local Aldi's here for some in-room goodies.
And yes, checked the dates carefully.

Here in CA, public school amounts to "ties own shoes, plays well with other children."
A few years back, I was in a public school classroom doing IT support and got to witness an 8th grade punk terrorizing his teacher.
She rolled over, when she should have called the PE teacher to come in with a ping-pong paddle and pound his ass with it.
When I was a student in Idaho, this is exactly what happened.
One of the big football linebacker kids got mouthy, and the wrestling coach stepped in.
He hauled that big jerk down right in the middle of the hall and beat his ass with that paddle.
Here in CA, either home school or private school.
Public school is nothing more than hard Left indoctrination by hard left teachers who are members of the hard Left teacher's union.
