In the past I have used police training ammo in my 38 pistols and Marlins. Then I keep the brass for reloading and using in my 1866 and 1873.

Sounds like a re make of a German Luger in 45acp

I need to sell my J M Marlin 1894-C 357 Marlin carbine with action work by "Slick McClade" himself. The carbine is marked "Slick 46 on the top of the bolt. it has a lever wrap, Mernickle butt cover, Lyman tang sight, the rear sight on the barrel is a Marbles flat top, and it has Slick's sure hit front sight. It looks great. The action is "Slick" it even feeds my police style semi wadcutter bullets I get from the police dept. It holds ten 38 specials with no problem. I was getting the carbine set up from my wife and daughter to shoot and now neither one are interested anymore as we now have our first grandchild. Marlins are lot lighter and handier than 73s and the actions seems smaller to me. This one functions fine. I had the stock shortened a little but I am 5'9" and it handles well for me, you can always add a piece of wood under the butt cover if you want it longer.. Pull up Slick's web site and read about them There is a long waiting list for his Marlin Magic. I am asking $1,200 and I will pay shipping and put it in a hard case. It would make a fine Christmas gift. I will be glad to send pictures. Irish Pat, SASS 19486

He was also a fraud and to prison. Google him and read the whole story and yes I have his books.

In "Coming Home" he commits suicide rather than be married to Jane Fonda. I was proud of him!

It does not bother me when I am shooting a stage. It bothers me a lot at the unloading table when I never get any rifle brass returned to me
-
My Miroku Winchesterhas one problem. It ejects all my fired brass downrange out the front of the stage making it impossible to recover till after the end of the match. Has anyone else been through this situation? Any fixes? Irish Pat

We stayed at the Menger hotel in San Antonio last year. I planned to scratch my name in the wall at that Alamo but too many Texas Rangers were watching. How about letting me add my name at your Alamo? Irish Pat sass 19486, Dooley Gang member

I had a Rem 870 stolen years ago. Filed copy of purchase and police report with NRA and received a check from them fast. I was very pleased.

I have shot with "Parson" many times and he has always been a good pardner to posse with. "Dear God, we place our worries and "Parson" in your hands. Calm his fears and we ask you restore him to health again." Irish Pat
