I have been using a PW375 since the late 70"s , and it's my goto for the best reloads. People have called "BS" when I tell them they are reloads. GW

So if I drop a 457 round ball into the chamber. Then take my cartridge case that is loaded with 5 grains of Titegroup, plus a cardboard milk carton wad that is seated tight over the powder to keep the powder in place.
At 25 yards I get 5 shot one hole groups that are 4" high. Next week I will try this load at longer range.
I also learned that 75 grains of black powder makes recoil and noise.
10 grains of Titegroup doesn’t kick or feel like much . But it makes enough pressure to back primers out enough that I almost couldn't open my breech. Keep in mind that this old brass is have has loose primer pockets to begin with.
But 10 grains I had foot plus groups. 7 grains I had one flyer that opened group to 5 inches . But 5 grains gives me one hole groups.
I also tried shooting straight lead 454 " Keith bullets with black and Smokeless. Horrible results!
Anyway the round ball 5 grain loads show great promise.Primer backing out is lack of pressure to push case back on to primer GW

Wondering f second follower swelled the open end of the first follower? Thinking if you removed the pin from the tube support, the tube will be free to pull forward. If your tube support comes out make sure it goes back in the right direction. The screw holes in the fore end cap were drilled at different locations so I had to disassemble and reverse the mount so the screws lined up. GW

I have had work done by Doug Guy. He stopped a few months ago due to health reasons but posted recently, was resuming work at a slower rate. Great guy with excellent reputation. Unfortunately, can be reached on Facebook or Cast Boolit forum. Gave me a send time and quick turn around. GW

Believe Hornady, Pacific, PW interchangeable bushings. Just different numbers. In my PW, I bought a adapter to use MEC bushing instead. MEC bushings are cheaper and readily available everywhere. GW
Adapter was from BPI GW
