  1. Rossi 1892 in 44 Magnum

    Light, handy, I shoot it well

    Great caliber for Ohio deer cuz the ranges are reasonably close, and 44 Mag bullets are great for deer-sized game.

    Now that you can use straight wall pistol cartridges in a rifle ,

    In Shotgun zones.

    The Marlin the 92 and the Henry in 44 mag are hard to find around here.

  2. Most any will work. Some better than others. The most challenging is removing stuck nipples. So, I built this one from a small 1/4" drive socket notched to fit and to be used with the 1/4" square drive to 1/4" hex adaptor into an impact driver. I have even used it on original CB guns with good success

    For working on my 92's .

    They work great .

     

    I think you forgot to ad the Nipple wrench adapter to my kit though ! Lol .

  3. It'll probably be Ballistol that I use with the zerk fittings.

    What's good for my guns is good for my knees :P

  4. I have a very nice Uberti 1873 20" Carbine .

    Round barrel and Carbine butt stock .

    Lightest 1873 in the game .

     

    She has a Pioneer third gen short stroke kit installed .

    And a Cimarron lether butt cover.

    With a Ladder style rear sight.

     

    She is a 44 special and runs great .

    Low round count .

     

    I like my 1866 in 44 special better .
