Sadly, the Chicken lost that job, too, and the Sonic closed.

    Let's do this in DC!

    Comics, of course.

    DC Comics.

    Yeah, that's the ticket!

    Straight ticket?

    Or Not Straight?

    Hard to tell, anymore.

    Or not hard.

Or, hard in the wrong bikini.

Charlie Brown never had these problems!

    Just don't trust Lucy!

Yes, I would eat them all!

Is the crust flaky, or soft like an American donut?

    Custard or cream?

Sprinkled with sugar on the top?

And, of course, with my cup of Twinings! With milk and two sugars.

Man, I don't know. If I had that much money, that would sure be a cool way to waste it!

Imagine how fast you could get to Home Depot and take home your bags of mulch!

This is like a George Jefferson El Camino. Movin' on up to the East Side!

Who else remembers how to fire them with your thumb?

It would blacken your nail, and maybe get up onto the skin, where it sometimes burned.

    Remember the smell?

Too dangerous for kids nowadays, I suppose...

I bought some Land O'Lakes butter before they eradicated the Indian(s).

    But, they kept the land(scape)!

I didn't get any Aunt Jemima boxes, but we might have some Uncle Ben's.

And we have some Mrs. Butterworth's, but I don't know if she has been outsourced or not...

And now, the rest of the story (Thanks, Paul):

Actually, this fellow's in a park in Norway.

Brussels has some interesting statues, too:

If you've never visited Europe, you are missing out on a whole lot of cool stuff, and not just pissing kids.

Germany is beautiful, Brussels is historic (pickpockets abound!), and so many other sites are wonderful!

America goes back to the 1700's or so. European cities go back to Roman times!

If you have a kid in the Service, go visit them while they're there. You will never forget the trip!  :FlagAm:

    In Texas:

I'll park on the edge of the parking lot to park in shade, and then walk clear across the lot, so that my Jeep Patriot seat doesn't burn my butt when I return. Plus, I'll open the hatch to let the hot air out, so that the air doesn't incinerate my lungs.

Besides, it's not fair to my Pat.

She has a shaded driveway at home, and doesn't like parking in the sun.  It's bad for her complexion, uh, finish!

    Side Note:

A neighbor lady baked a loaf of bread in her brick-covered mailbox this past week. Kinda like in Oz!

    Hoping to remember passwords.

Remembering numbers was easier for me!

Endicott 8-6122 from back in the '60's.

About the time that they started zip codes.

And they opened the 7-11's that were open from 7 am to 11 pm. Big deal, back then.

    Remember passwords?

If it's not something clever, I have to write it down.

    Then I lose the note....

    Yeah, it was powdered sugar.

    That's what it was.

    Nothing but powdered sugar.

Unfortunately, he liked powdered sugar too much.....
