  1. I haven’t been to many, but I liked “Old Town” in Sacramento.
  2. Was I hearing correctly? The first video was an Odachi. In the Forged in Fire show it sounded like they called the swords “Nodachi”. Watching the first video I kept picturing Indiana Jones shooting the guy. Kind of a let down. He didn’t cut anything and no one challenged him. That definitely isn’t a close quarters combat sword.
  3. I do believe you hit the nail on the head, Joe. Thank you. —————————————— I think it’s high time to call out the rest of the states regarding California. Write your state politicians and ask them to propose and vote on a bill that bans any California influence that is not specifically beneficial as outlined in the U.S. Constitutions and their state constitutions or charters. All you people bit**ing about California will find out real quick how many commie types you (and I) have in our respective governments and perhaps open the eyes of those in your states that do believe in the American dream, not Marx’s, Stalin’s or any other socialist zealot now and in the past. This crap ain’t all California. There are lurkers in nearly every state government dreaming of the day the entire country will be like California.
  4. Drats! I was hoping to see them as the new “green” Liquorcycles.
  5. The family that sleighs together, stay together. Ah, homophonic I thought @Subdeacon Joe would like this one.
  6. Riding that thing I would look like a circus bear on a little scooter. No, I am definitely not interested.
  7. Rest in peace, Tom Smothers. Thank you for the laughs.
  8. Dang! Rest in peace, Mr Glock. Thank you for your gun designs and great guns.
  9. When I lived in CA the only time I saw a sombrero was at a cowboy action match or Mariachis performing at public events and parades. I used to have a hat like the one @Injun Ryder, SASS #36201Lposted, but I only wore at matches.
  10. This reminds me of a dipstick contractor we had doing some testing on our rail cars. He insisted his people call him “Sergeant” as he was a Sergeant in the Army. His name was Thomas. He insisted that I call him Sergeant. I did not. He got a bit perturbed that I wouldn’t. So much so that he asked the site manager to insist that myself and my crews call him Sergeant. I told his manager that this was silly and a waste of time that wasted tax dollars in the process. Then I decided that Thomas should call us, myself and veteran members of my crews, by our former ranks / ratings along with our last names. All together we represented the Navy, Marines, Army and Air Force. Thomas relented and that was the end of that nonsense.
  11. One can like cages and bikes at the same time. I like that Kawasaki
  12. My response would be more along the lines of a boot in his arse.
  13. Call the Sporting Clays Range and see. Some might see BP as a possible fire danger, depending on where their range is and how it’s set up.
  14. I’m glad you’re still with us. I do think that Covid, like the flu will require annual boosters or vaccines. I was debating on looking into the newest booster when I got Covid. I had read on Epoch Times that there had been reports of people having heart attacks after getting the flu and Covid boosters at the same time. I decided to get the flu shot first and ended up with Covid. At first I thought “Covid’s no longer as potent as it used to be, but I had no idea it could linger for so long. One thing is for sure, I will get the boosters as long as they offer them and as long as Pfizer is not involved but I will never take another shot at a drug store, or at least not at the one where I got my flu shot.
