On Amazon I was looking at Magpul stocks for the 10/22. This is what I saw: Magpul “Unisex” Hunter? What? So, I posted a question as to why the have “Unisex” in the title. I got no responses except for this in an email: Hi Tom,   We sent your question about Magpul Unisex Hunter X-22 to the Amazon community and unfortunately none of them have yet responded. You can’t make this stuff up…

Thank you. I have done quite a few searches. There’s a lot of info out there but a lot of it has holes and incorrect data. I’m not sure if the misinformation is on purpose or accidental. I know that we did some special assignments and those are not listed any where. I think I will leave well enough alone. I have my cruise books and my photos. That’s good enough.

I have looked for the history of my ship online, the USS Virginia CGN-38, and every thing I find has holes and gaps in the history. I guess she wasn’t in any notable battles or conflicts so I guess there isn’t much interest in narrowing down the complete history of her.

Me and a buddy made beer flavored ice cream once…Once! The idea sounded great. Of course we were well into a bottle of Jack Daniel’s at the time. We used Anchor Steam beer and cooked it down into a syrup and then we added it to our cream and sugar and began cranking. When it was finished we tasted it. It was not very good. We decided that we were intoxicated so maybe that was why it tasted funny. We were wrong. It tasted pretty funky when we were sober too.

Made with Duke’s? No wonder the agent was angry. An insult like that deserves prison time.

I think anyone caught smuggling that crap should be injected with their product. Sure would save a lot of hassle and money. If you disagree, I don’t care. You won’t change my mind so why bother. I’ll just ignore you anyway. There are some things in this world that need addressing the hard way - Removal from the gene pool.

I used to say things like “If these parents can’t rein in their kids they should be tossed in jail.” Then I kind of got my wish. A couple went to jail for “contributing to the delinquency of minors”. The kids went into the foster system. I heard that the kids were separated and basically the state destroyed the family. That was not justice and I think it was immoral.

That’s cool! You definitely deserved that “A”.

I traded a Winchester 94AE Carbine 30-30 and a cheesy Mossberg 500 for a 4” S&W model 66-5. It was made in 2000. It had MIM parts but no lock. It shaved lead and copper jacket something terrible. I couldn’t figure out why so I shipped it to Smith & Wesson. S&W said it was unrepairable. I am guessing due to a lack of parts. Anyway they offered to replace it with a 4” model 66 or a 3” 66 Combat Magnum. I chose the Combat magnum. Here are a couple shots of the first model 66. It sure was a looker. This is how it looked when I got it. I put a Hogue Monogrip on it and replaced the front sight with an SDM Gold Bead sight and the rear sight with a Cylinder & Slide Extreme Duty fixed sight. I did get all those parts back from S&W. Here's the 66 Combat Magnum shortly after I received it. My opinion of this gun has been very guarded due to problems I have had with new S&W revolvers these last few years, but I am really getting to like this revolver.
