I hate to tell you guys this but you've been fooled.  I was looking for the LA Times article because I wanted to see what part of LA he was from and I found this:

I realize Snopes isn't very reliable either but when I couldn't find anything from the LA Times, I have to think they're correct.

I did the same, but didn’t consult Snopes. There is no story to be found about this supposed person. I’m amazed people fall for this s**t.

Seriously? I’ve never seen a jug launch itself like that. I would think it would have exited the cowling by then.

I’ve seen a magneto grenade itself, but the shrapnel had already left the engine compartment.

  3. The Golden Gate Bridge opened 4+ years after construction began. Anyone care to speculate how long it would take in today’s bureaucracy and court challenges?

Now, now....it could have been worse...

He could have asked if it was Hillary.

Then it would need an “h” for ham. :D

Bottom line....something new, government subsidized,  failed.

The only "subsidies" this attempt at maritime fuel savings is the usual business tax breaks

Tax breaks ARE subsidies and they are never-ending. Take away the taxpayer support and the entire green energy gambit dies overnight.

Now, let’s take this dead horse topic to a new thread and leave this meme thread alone.

  6. REALLY glad to hear you survived! I’m guessing you’ll be sore for a bit. :)

The pic below is my wife’s car (the red Buick Encore) after a 22-car pileup on I-70 4 years ago. She survived with 6 broken ribs and sternum. Since the collision happened on a bridge, it took first responders 2 hours to get to her and cut her out of the car.

It was a smallish car, but the cabin remained intact. She bought another to replace it. Thank God for angels and modern engineering.

  7. Amazon has done that to me countless times.

Adding on, USPS hasn’t shown up here for two days. How do I know? I had mail in the box with the flag up. I’m guessing that if a letter carrier doesn’t show up for work, there’s no one to cover the route.

Kansas conceal/carry renewals are required to be sent certified mail to Topeka, a distance of 60 miles from my house. It took 11 days for mine to arrive   Yet a first class envelope sent to a pard in rural Kansas 235 miles away took only two days.

Looks like it’s California and Canada compliant. But then, there’s someone who’ll think it should be banned because of “the thing that goes up in the back”.
