  1. I was watching Magnificent Seven over the Christmas break and began to wonder: who do the filmmakers bring in to teach the fast draw, gun slinging, and gun play stuff? Now that has to be a cool job.

In his younger days Wes Flowers....That's what heard and what he said...Sadly he is gone...I wonder who he might be teaching now...

  2. I still have my dog tags issued in 1969.

I still have mine from 65...I had two different ones give to me, one with serial number other with SS number...Still have SS one...Other lost threw the years...Mine also had AF in front of first one...AF for Air Force...

  3.

Don't think that was actually ground beef, ground something

Didn't see many stray cats or dogs on base....No stray horses either....It was good stuff...Add a couple eggs on top and sure would clean me out....Top to bottom....Good while it stayed around....

  4. First of all I think I should say that I have no problems with helping the handicapped. But I must laugh when I see:

Braille instructions at the drive-up ATM. Well maybe the blind person could be in the back seat.

In the men's room at a restaurant. "Employees must wash hands before returning to work". Is the blind person going to run his hands over every surface in the men's room just to learn if there is a message that says he must wash his hands.

I noticed that back a number of years ago....I started watching who was driving into those ATMs....Makes you wonder....

  5. You're saying (I think) that the water in the boiler in the basement is always pumping through the pipes, which is why when you turn on the faucet on the 80th floor it don't take ten minutes for the water to get hot?

But still, how big a heating system they need to service a largish (hundred rooms or more) hotel?

I guess you need to know....The shower at the top floor drains into the shower below....The hot water just flows down hill threw each room and shower....They never need to warm it up....Saves on gas to warm it up...

  6. Keep yer noggin covered and keep your gloved hands around a hot cup of cocoa laced with a liberal shot of Bailey's Irish Cream. Look for polar fleece with wind block. It helps alot too.

Lots of good ideas...But I still think two blonds are better...

  7. I was there once in the summer 'bout 30 years ago. Hot as HELL! My brother-in-law and his wife live there. It's hot enough for me in West Texas, think I'll pass. 115 is a LITTLE much.

West Texas is just flat....Nothing there to see...And everything you can see, you can from the second floor of any house....In any direction...
