We will never teach' em Bear about a good hamburger...ya' just gotta have everything on a top notch burger.!!!!
A good bread roll is a must, juicy steak, cooked onions, pineapple, beetroot, fried egg, [ lettuce & butter if ya' have a hankering ]..there's so many things to add depending on what the person likes ]...watching a fella with a big beard is the funniest thing...usually the burger is every where except in his mouth, well hell next thing they'll be sayin' is they don't like banana sandwiches.
Did you start this Alpo ?

I said the SSAA is affiliated' with SASS PM -
SSAA Single Action Shooting – Australia is affiliated with the world governing body SASS – Single Action Shooting Society. Matches are conducted using the International Rules of Single Action Shooting as promulgated by SASS.
https://ssaansw.org.au/disciplines/single-action/#:~:text=SSAA Single Action Shooting – Australia,Shooting as promulgated by SASSHere in Australia SASS is promoted and proudly supported by SSAA. SASS has a motto and that motto is the "Spirit of the Game",
BB....As I have said I understand with most points as to what you are saying..I don't agree with your comment of SASS lining their own pockets as the overseas shooter has their 'own choice as to whether they want to join or not....every country has their own affilliation to SASS..if any type of concession is given to non members then that is not fair to the paying members...there are lots of examples of oranisations / clubs in life where if you want to participate then you must be financial. I know we are only talking about the wire and they may say that non members can post but if they don't allow this I completely understand. I'm not defending SASS however in this situation of copyright infringements they do have to make a difficult decision. There are plenty of SA shooters all over the world who are not SASS members & still shoot Cowboy...SSAA & all the other affilliates are all just hangers on with no teeth...as I have also said as long as we have SASS International rules registered with Weapons licensing that's all that matters...Cheers

BB..Just on a side note you have to be a SASS member to be an accredited SASS RO or TG...SSAA accreditations are different . Also contrary to what some say or think SSAA does not have the rights to SA in Australia....SASS International rules are registered with the various state Weapons Licensing branches, as long as the Club is approved to shoot SA they do not have to be affilliated with SSAA...just sayin'...cheers

I see that Nowra has some new faces running SA, Squints & his recycled jokes , a true character of the game..Would like to attend the 'Last Posse but Dalby's Easter shoot is the next w'end [ although that's another story as they are going to assess my nomination to see if I am allowed to attend !!!!!!! ] I will see what happens..my good mate Deadly will be there [ Nowra ]...Cheers

I'm never going to the USA to compete PM (unfortunately health precludes me) I'm not prepared to drop $280AUD a year for a zero benefit for both myself and Jenorado (also RO2 SA & RO2 WB) when we pay our yearly Australian affiliation to the SSAA here. If it means not posting here, well, unfortunately so be it. Hopefully one is still allowed to view, even if they can't participate.
Completely understand what you are saying, when our 'poor dollar is converted it works out very expensive for virtually nil return other than saying 'I am a SASS member. My point in relation to the shooting aspect is no concession is given , you must be a SASS member so that should also mean the wire if that's what SASS may require. I 've been to the states 3 times & don't envisage going again so maybe down the track I may too not be a member but at the moment I will continue to pay...you would know my thoughts re SSAA & that's why I jumped ship to Shooters Union & now SSAA will not allow me to shoot SSAA National & State titles as I am not a member ..so that is a similar scenario to what you are asking . Shooters Union is also affilliated with SASS exactly ' the same as SSAA...Cheers

BB...You MUST be a SASS member to shoot the bigger SASS matches in the USA regardless of where you come from...for me it's about supporting the parent body..I know it's probably not what you want to hear but I believe no concession should be given if only SASS members are allowed on the wire..other opinions may vary .....cheers

Pretty sure TB has remained the same formula....some others have changed & gone from double based to single based, they don't burn as well & need upping the grainage to get a better performance.... Your Clays [ our AS30 ]used to be double based & here down-under the name changes went from AS30 [DB ] to SB powders AS350 & 450 then AS650 & presently is known as AS950. I may have got the numbers mixed up but it was something like that....the price hikes were significant.!!
