ooooh , thats always scary , hope it hasnt walked off on you ,

that prompted the thought about how many people ive seen walk off without their guns over the last 20 years of working at our range [part time] its an unbelievably high number , im not sure all of them were what i would call negligent , the ones at the rifle/pistol range were kids not doing what they were told or folks that had too much stuff to load in their cars , the shotgun range is a whole different story - a lot of those were older shooters that were starting to fail , and high school kids that were not paying attention , one was a guy that dropped half his gun off for gunsmith repairs that forgot about it

I left my gun in the bathroom once at a gunshop I worked at.  Customer came out n said someone left a gun in here. I thanked him for not stealing it

He said he thought it might be a setup..I could only laugh. TRUE STORY.

We  will be bringing a '73 in .357 built by Palo Verde, an SKB by Jimmy Spurs, a pair of stainless .32's by Jimmy Spurs (Full house, but not short stroked), a pair of customized Ruger .357 Blackhawks, some chaps and a pr. of chinks, a gun cart recently refinished, and some hand made beaded bracelets made by Wild Sage.

P.S. I plan to bring all this to the ACSA Road Runner match also.

If you cannot see how having 20% less target affects shooters; than I don't know what to tell you.

More hittable targets equates to more happy shooters.

Shooting unsupported pistol is more challenge than shooting supported - and rifle shooting (at SASS distances) is less challenging yet again.

So the "smart" thing to do (assuming target count and availability support doing so) is to utilize the more hittable targets (i.e. the larger) for the most challenging firearm.

Yes, the argument can always be made that target size, shape and distance are immaterial, because "everyone shoots the same match" - but so what?

Good match directors have realized there is zero harm to the top tier of shooters by making success for the middle and bottom tier more accessible.

    Excellent

  4. Been trying to access their web site for some time without success. Anyone have info OR another company that makes 95 grain coated bullets for 38/357?

    Thanks
