Love my rebel 17 tumbler.

After spending money to have top of the line short stroked tuned rifles and pistols. I was skimping on a shotgun, because I thought it wouldn't make a difference. Boy was I wrong! Yes I dropped $1400 on my first SKB. It fists me like a glove and I've dropped at least 2 seconds a stage. I now have a second one and I consider it money well spent.

I just picked-up my threaded barrel S&W Victory .22 today. The silencer fits perfectly on both it and my Ruger 10/22. I will be playing with my "toys" sometime during Christmas break.
I'll report back on how the S&W shoots.

Surprisingly, parts of this post are historically correct. Early Sumerian society didn't start to grow grain to make bread, it was to brew beer. European medieval people averaged a gallon of ale a day; water would kill you.
If you get a chance, watch the History Channel's "How beer saved the World".

Thanks for the input gentlemen!
Widow, I traded my last Mark II for a bull barrel Buckmark and I really like it. My problem now is to find something with a threaded barrel for my new suppressor.

My tax stamp for my .22 suppressor finally came in after a 7 month wait. I have a nice Ruger 10/22 with a threaded barrel and I was about to buy a Ruger 22/45 Lite with a threaded barrel, but I just recently handled a new S&W Victory .22 and it sure looks and feels nice. The new American Rifleman also gave it a glowing review.
Do any of you have experience with this pistol? I have owned Ruger Mark I through Mark IIIs and I can disassemble them with only a little cussing. I know the Rugers work, what about this new S&W? I also looked at the new Ruger Mark IV (an idea way overdue). It's a nice looking gun also, but pricey.

Is this something that's going to be fixed soon? My firewall at work would not let me on. I almost went into withdrawals waiting to get home to check the forum. Even then, it was a chore to get on.

Go to a shoot here and check out their stuff. Go to the affiliated clubs on the main page of the SASS website.

I use to throw in a league and money tournaments until my wife asked if I was ever going to leave the bar and come home. Now that we are "empty-nesters", I'm tempted to start throwing again.

One guy in the club is using wheel chair wheels and they work great. I picked-up a baby jogger with foam core wheels and I love it. It's much easier to take down than my old wood gun cart.
It cost $30 and a little more for ATV gun holders that I added.

Gunfighter discrimination should not be tolerated! Seriously, being a gunfighter, I'm curious as to why no gun fighter.

Yes, PaleWolf, I meant "Black Pin" RO Instructors.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to attend an EOT event. I was not aware that winners were awarded a black badge.
Thank you for your help.

I'm making a new shotgun belt for a fellow cowboy shooter. He asked if it would be possible to put a loop for a rifle/pistol round on the outside of a shotgun loop. Below is the section from the Shooter's Handbook that covers shell loops. It say nothing about loops on the outside of shotgun loops. I know of one local shooter who uses this arrangement.
The shotgun belt I am making will be used by a shooter who attends bigger shoots. Neither he, or I, want to make him something that is going to get him DQed at a big match.
Any of you "black badges" are welcome to offer your opinions.
From the Shooter's Handbook
Ammunition required for loading/reloading during the course of any stage must be carried on the shooter‘s person in a bandoleer, cartridge/shotshell belt loop, pouch, holster, or pocket or be safely staged as required by stage instructions. Leather belt slide ammo loops are acceptable; however, shotgun shell slides may not be worn over shotgun loops on an ammo belt. Shotgun loops must be in a single row. Rifle and revolver ammunition may not be carried in a shotshell loop. No ammunition may be carried in the mouth, ears, nose, cleavage, or any other bodily orifice.

Have a copy of the FFL license it package and another when you go to post office. It's perfectly legal to send it through the post office. I send them all the time.
