I just saw that, $1400 for gun and work, so figuring on maybe $500-600 for the work on an existing gun? I really don't know anything about what active working gunsmiths charge; my gunsmith buddy that did a little work for me is retired and just charges for parts since he has time and likes to tinker, but his forte is black powder rifles and oddballs like my Iver Johnson Second Model 38 SW revolver.

I charge $350 plus return shipping to do my work on CZ Sharptails that are shipped here.  Its no secret to email or call for pricing.  I don't know where you're finding new CZ Sharptail coachguns for $800-$900?¿  Thats not even wholesale cost, and you can't ever compete with a gunsmith buddy doing work for free.
