  1. Think lower hammers is a BIG help.

Many other duelist and I like the Ruger Bisley just because of that.

My wife just started shooting duelist. Ruger V's. Because the Bisleys just felt too big for her.

First, we went with the Super Blackhawk hammers. But with her hands. She wanted even lower.

So, we ended up with Ruger V's with Bisley hammers. We even ended up with Bisley triggers in them also.

Got to say. They are pretty sweet.

Find the best Duelist in your area. I'm betting they would be more than happy to work with you.

  2. We do years end points as to how you placed overall after each match.

    Men's and Men's Sr

    Women's and Womens Sr

    Buckaroo

Winner of each gets a nice Molly's custom buckle.

If you win one year, then you are not eligible the next. You have to sit it out a year.

Then we also have a nice clean match buckle.

Every time you shoot a clean match. You have your name added to it.

The more times you shoot clean. The more chances you have for a drawing

for the buckle at the end of the year.

    This one?

That's the one. Best I have seen.

For me it hits the two MAIN things.

The shooting. But also, the friendships and fun.

  4. If you are going to run the CCI. Stick with what is in there. They are a very hard primer.

Personally. I would save the CCI for something else.

Go with the Federal primers in my pistol.

Wife just started shooting Duelist. She didn't like the Ruger Bisley. Which MANY Duelist and GFer like. Including myself.

They felt too big for her. So, she went with the Ruger Vaqueros.

But she wanted the lower hammers. Went with the SBH. Which is lower. Then ended up going with the Bisley hammers and short stroked.

Even switched to the Bisley trigger in them also. All the work done by Boomstick.

She is pretty happy with this setup.

Got to say. They feel pretty sweet.

That bit a posse at EOT a few years ago that a friend of mine was on. They started with rifle on shoulder, at the ready, Lassiter came thru and saw it....nope, everyone has to reshoot the stage or take a P.

Then make it clear what you want.

    Because as you can see.

Different places are doing it different ways.

    And everywhere around here.

Rifle at the ready is with it on shoulder pointed at target.

  6. Most of the hats I have are in the $200 range.

And yes. I will wear them out in the dust and working outside.

I wear a cowboy hat a lot in just everyday life.

I do have one 50x that I paid over $600 for. I don't wear it much except when we go out to eat or something like

that. I wear it sometimes to a SASS banquet.

Have a couple hats that over 40 years old. But still going. One my wife just doesn't want me to wear. It's dirty, sweaty and

    been wore hard.

But I still wear it sometimes anyway. It's got a lot of character.

  7. We have got to the point we only run Maxxus tires on our camper.

Haven't had any problems after going to those. We put new on every 3rd year even if they still look new.

Been thinking about some kind of sensor for them. But haven't done any research of it yet.

  8. I am lucky that we have been able to shoot with Non-Stop for a number of years now.

We hold him in very high regard. Can't think of anyone that deserves it more.

And that fact that it can help bring attention to the Buffalo Soldiers story makes it

    even more assume.

Very good condition. Nice action work. Has one of the Sure Hit slip over brass sights on it.

    $950 +shipping to your FFL

    Has been shot very little.

So sorry. I am computer stupid and don't know how to get a pic on here.

But you can PM me and I can text one to you until I figure out how to post pic here.

This was one of Colorado Jacksons safe queens. And has been my safe queen for the past year.

No trades. Need to fund another adventure.

Again. Sorry I don't know how to do pics on here.

  10. Really glad it is just one category.

Good grief the last thing we need is another one.

I shoot DD. Mostly because I really like the transition part of shooting that way.

However, I have from time to time went with just my right hand (small far targets)

I am faster with my left. BUT. Much more accurate with my right.

And if you think you can't be fast with just your strong hand.

You haven't got you hind end kicked by Doc Roy L Pain yet.
