Quite a few. The difference is if and when I go to sell them I'll get more for them then it cost me to buy them. That's not gonna happen with a gun cart.

Same goes for your car/truck or RV.

It's the kind of metal that is important.  Most of the knives you find at a grocery or big box store just aren't very good.

I use a Spyderco or Victorinox Santoku knife almost all the time, the thin blade sharpens quickly and takes a sharp edge.

I'm still using a professional set made by Chicago Cutlery that I bought in 1978, when they were still USA made.

I had the same issue, trying to sharpen hard steel blades until I bought one of these, by Spyderco. Coarse and fine ceramic stones and guards to prevent an accidental finger amputation.

They do a great job and, in my case, idiot proof!

In fact in the 40+ years I've owned it, I STILL have all my finger.

    Intact!

    Best sharpener ever made :excl:

Nope.. but I’m still gonna do the extra 1/2 turn you suggested..

I have the rifle torn apart now on my cleaning bench..

It’s only got about 3 maybe 4 matches on it since

last falls (that’s when our season ends here) deep cleaning which I do at the end of every season

    Don't 'fix' what ain't broke.

Go with a total of 3/4 turn and run it.....

He taught me correctly.. engrained me with good habits..

I’m 77 now.. ain’t as competitive now.. slowed down a lot..

Don’t think I’m outrunning the the lever.. but thanks for yer info

LG.. when I do my deep cleaning tonight are you saying turn the straining screw in another 1/2 turn? Already turned it in 3/4 turn..

Abilene.. already called Joe at Pioneer.. still waiting for a callback..

Still wondering if a standard Hammer Spring will work ok with the super short stroke..

    Thanks for yer input guys..

I still think Null N. Void hit the nail on the head..

Did you still have FTF with the 3/4 turn?

No it wasn’t, it was fired in another gun. The shell slides into the chamber easily. I’ll have to try it with an unfired shell, I was just afraid to do that.

Just do it in the back yard. ;)

Fired shell from another gun is not the best way to test.

If you reload SG ammo, just resize the fired case.

I don't recall,  have you fired this SG yet?

No it doesn’t, it’s definitely harder to open when trying to eject a shell though.

Looks like you may have a headspace issue.

Does it hangup ejecting an unfired factory round?

The fired case you used in the video, was it fired in that shotgun?

We get that you guys like Unique. Now where does a new shooter find this wonder powder? I haven't seen any Unique for sale in over 2 years.

    I bought 3, 8lb jugs of it back in 2019. ;)

Really? I can buy 350 rounds of .22 for 23.95 , I can’t reload my .38’s that cheap and factory .38’s are way more expensive,

We have no trouble with timers hearing .22’s they can be adjusted and you just need to get the timer close enough for the rifle. Heck, some .38’s don’t always get picked up by the timer!

Been a good spell since I bought primers, powder or bullets. Think we were still in Commiefornia then. Moved the Missouri in 2019.

I really stocked up on components years ago just as the prices started go'n nutz.

My favorite powder(Unique)you can't even buy now. :(

CCI standard velocity $3.50-4.00 per 50 in cardboard box, they are actually more like $8.50-9 if you buy the 100 count in the plastic container

All I see here in Missouri is the 100 pk.

    Why I asked.  ;)
