    My Marlin is a 16 " 1970's pre safety.

And it only says 44 Magnum on the barrel.

It never could run 44 special.

    Runs Magnums like butter  !

My 1982 made .44 will feed Special and Magnum with no issues.

After following Widder's tips, it now feeds both case lengths like butter with semi-wadcutter bullets.

Anybody try one of these yet?  Gunstrollers.com

    First ones I've seen. TNX!

    1/2 the price of RG.

My only concern is the pneumatic tires.

I was trying to avoid that because I’m shy.😉

I talked to a nice young lady there. Four gun carts are going through an upgrade with new features. They should be available within the next 2-3 weeks. Depending on upgrades and packages you choose they’ll start at $929 and go up to $1100+.

    Sure get'n pricey

I can use some help.  I'm looking for a replacement carrier for my Marlin Cowboy in 44 mag.  Any help would be appreciated.

    What's the issue with yours?

  5. My orginal alias was "Lumpy Grits"

At a breakfast with friends get'n ready to join SASS, we were discussing my alias choices.

Couldn't find one I liked. When my breakfast was served, it included a small bowl of lumpy grits. Everyone dared me.....

I am learning the hard way it seems. I’ve never had firearms I had to worry about this with - except maybe with suppressors/mounts/hubs/adapters.

I have ransacked my 1st floor, vacuumed everywhere and checked the contents before dumping. I cannot find it - maybe a cat found a new toy and knocked it into the register.

May Rossi customer service have mercy on me!

Small dab of blue Loctite is your friend ;)

Looks like I only took a photo of the right side, that’s not like me lol, because a screw is missing.

The bad receiver threads are on the left side, top left screw.

First picture is from the R92 357 with the issue.

Second picture is from my R92

    45 carbine for reference.

That screw is what holds the bolt cross bolt pin in place.

Why you must check screw tightness regularly.

I am now the proud owner of a Dillon 550C but I have some bad news lol

What I’m about to show you could be considered graphic - I would probably describe it as gun gore.

Ive been working the action on this rifle day and night, I have a tendency to fidget, and it has been lubricated with ballistol the entire time.

Over the weekend the action started to hang up as it was first engaging from a close position. I decided to clean it (it’s never been shot yet as I was waiting on ammo order).

I discovered some unexpected wear and what is most definitely a catastrophic  failure of the screw threads on the receiver side.

I took it to the gun store I got it from today and it’s being sent off to Rossi. There’s no putting metal back where it’s not so I’m hoping for a replacement and not the runaround lol

RIP - my cowboy choice ammo just arrived today lol

Do you have a picture of the outside of the receiver?

Buried utility lines have MUCH LESS capacity than lines in free air. That's not a problem with buried lines to individual residential properties. Buried secondary and main transmission lines are a big problem.

Sooner or later, ALL utility power lines end up overhead.

    Understand for commercial loads.

Not so much for residential usage.

Then again, if the city would trim the trees.....

Not sure loading data is allowed so Im just asking for general advice.

Bought a Uberti/cimmaron 1873 clone and I bought 158SWC bullets to reload and now I’m reading that’s not a good idea. So to help me not waste more money what are you guys using? Is it a cartridge overall length issue aswell or do u just need to use a round pose style bullet?

If so where are you guys getting all your bullets from? Thanks!

Have you even tried those bullets you bought?
