    Got my OLD Girl back on the road , yesterday I took a short road trip on my 1981 Suzuki GS 650 GL, I have owned her for 38 + years ...

    But haven't ridden on the Highway since my accident that by all accounts should have killed me , I spent a lot of time checking my mirrors ...

    Was I nervous Yes and a little Rusty at low speed , but we both made it back home safe ... Thanks to Ed my new ridding buddy joining me' and the little shove to get me back on the road ... 

    Today i'm thinking I need to go for another short ride to knock of a little more of the Rust ...

     

    I'm having a hard time being Grumpy ,,,, But I will try ...

     

    Coffee and Apple Pie fer da Grumps , Anyone up for a Ride ...

    They do seem to run to the scummy side of  Human behavior  ....

    Common Sense seems to have Left the Left years ago, along with moral behavior...

    Ten days till our Fall Shoot 4 days of shooting and visiting ,,, Swapping Lies and Guns ....

    Just got back from a two day shoot over in Sask. one where you had to use your sights ..... 

    Shotgun and Pistol targets from about 13-20 yards and most Rifle targets about 50 yards ....

    Sat. the wind was a very gusty side wind from 40- 90 KM.... A real hat remover ....

    We shot 6 stages and 5 on Sunday .... 

    Friday supper was Slow Cooked Pork Ribs and Fixings ...

    Saturday was Cook your own Steak over a Wood Fire and Fixings ....

    The Fixings Very varied and Super Good .... Baked Potatoes and Garlic Toast Both nights ...

    And Finger Sized deserts ....

     

    Great Match ,,, Super Food and a Send Off for Our TG  you passed on over to the open range above, Ride Tall Chuck ...

    Hey Grumps :

    We is having 4 days of Shooting out west of my place , " Show Down on the Old Macleod Trail " Aug. 13 - 16 ...

    Porcupine Hills Shadow Riders is the Host Club ... Dry Camping is available starting on the 12th. 

    But I live only 6.5 miles from the site and have plenty of space for Tin Cabins if you want to come early or stay late...

    Hey Kid it's not usually my mistakes that bother me,,,, Never Voted Liberal...

     

    Coffee's hot strong and Fresh and it's made from Beans I brought back from Uganda ....

    Got some Harvest Loaf to eat as well ...

    Howdy all ;

    Grumps time to wake-up and crawl out of the Lair ,,,  Winter about over , and COVID 19 is Old News ...

    Time to dust of the Guns and go and shoot some steel ,,, A few of Ya will have to re-gear your Shotgun choices as 10 Ga. and some 12 Ga guns are Now Prohibited Devices ... "Firearms with a bore of 20 mm or greater " are now Prohibited ... This includes Single Shots ...

     

    This the Latest over reach into our Lives in Canada by the Liberals should be enough to keep every one Grumpy for a decade or two ...

    Have a Grumpy Life ...

     

    Coffee's Hot and plentiful grab a cup and let's plan ...
